Elana + Navin Are Married!

I know that Elana + Navin have been dying to see their wedding photos so I am happy to post them today! Their wedding took place on a Thursday in October and it was pretty much perfect! Their day was all about "Promises in Purple" and was held at the Eglinton Grand. They paid homage to both of their cultures by having a Jewish ceremony serenaded by a steel drum. I loved it! Elana + Navin opted to do their formal portraits before the ceremony to give them more time to spend with their friends and family. To get a mix of nature and urban, we first did some portraits in a ravine not far from the Grand and finished off by wandering Eglinton Avenue. I have happy to get in one of my favourite shots - the bus shelter! Congratulations Elana + Navin!

I love sisters! Mostly because I have two of my own. I loved this moment between the three of them when they first saw Elana all dressed up!

With their entrance to the reception, Elana + Navin performed a serenade together. It was awesome!

Ella + Rhett Are Married!

Ella + Rhett were high school sweethearts and officially tied the knot on October 3rd! I loved their wedding because it was all about colour! Their inspiration came from the feather of the peacock - greens, blues and purples were everywhere. Their wedding was held at the lovely Glencairn Golf Club in Halton Hills. The weather turned quite quickly on us but luckily, I think of myself as a bit of a meteorologist so I predicted the rain before it happened and we managed to get all of the outdoor shots complete before it poured. Ella + Rhett had a choreographed danced that included not only themselves but also the entire wedding party and their parents. It was so fun to watch! Congratulations Ella + Rhett!

I LOVED Ella's shoes and jewellery (a special set picked up in Greece!).

A lot of the wedding was planned around the time that a train would be passing by. The ceremony could not go late as the train's noise would interrupt. Timing was crucial. Luckily, everything went off without a hitch and we were even able to do portraits with the train!

When we went to the boardroom to do some more fun portraits, things got a little theatrical!

For their honeymoon, Ella + Rhett have gone traveling throughout Europe for a month. The tables were each named after a different place that they will be visiting on their trip.

I loved their backdrop to the head table - all ribbons and crystals!
