Laramie + Marc are Hitched!

Laramie + Marc's wedding kicked of the 2009 of weddings for me. Besides the weather being miserable, everything else about their big day was absolutely perfect! I went to school with Marc back in our hometown of Port Hope and when he contacted me about photographing his wedding, I said, "heck yes!". It is always fun yet difficult when photographing people you know and I have to say that I definitely did not anticipate all of the familiar faces that I would see at their wedding (including a bunch of my middle/high school teachers - hi guys!)

Laramie was such a beautiful bride - as cliché as it sounds, her smile really did light up the room! Her creative family helped with everything in the wedding including the flowers and Laramie's hair. They could seriously start up their own wedding planning company. Laramie + Marc's ceremony took place at the Holy Redeemer Church in Pickering and the reception was held at Tosca Banquet Hall in Oshawa. Congratulations Laramie + Marc and thank you for allowing me to take part in such a great day!!

I LOVED the detail on Laramie's dress!

Back in the day I taught Marc's little sister art class. She was three at the time! Now she's all grown up and more of a lady than I am!

Their ceremony consisted of a few Filipino traditions including having the couple wrapped in a veil.

Laramie is a teacher and a few of her students were able to attend the ceremony!

Marc's Mom taught me french in middle school!

Laramie is the eldest of three girls (just like me!).

After dinner there was a special Filipino dance.
