Boudoir Mad!

This past month I have done boudoir portraits of eight fabulous ladies! It has been a lot of fun and every time, the ladies are amazed by how gorgeous they look in the final images! Here are some more of my favourite portraits from a recent session that I had in my studio during a Boudoir Marathon.

Another Lovely Lady

On April 19th I held another Boudoir Marathon at my studio in Toronto. The four ladies that I photographed that day were absolutely gorgeous! Here are some images from one of their sessions.

Saturday, May 10th 11am Boudoir Session Available!

I now have an opening for a boudoir portrait session on Saturday, May 10th at 11am as the bride booked for this session has had to change the date with me.

My boudoir portraits take place at my studio located near downtown Toronto. The cost of a session is $330 and includes a disc containing high resolution files of all final photographs, including your top twenty favourite portraits all retouched so that they are as close to perfect as possible! Andrea + Duncan

Really the title of this posting should be Andrea + Duncan + Taz + Gucci! This past Sunday I met up with Andrea + Duncan and their little fur babies for a portrait session at Samuel Smith Park in Toronto. The weather was gorgeous and the location was great for photographs - you would hardly believe that we were in Toronto if it were not for the CN Tower in the background! It was a very fun shoot for me and we got some great laughs in! Here are a bunch of my favourite images from the session.

Trash the Dress!

It is the time of year to start booking your Trash the Dress portrait session! What is a Trash the Dress session? It is a portrait session that takes place after your wedding where you get dressed up in your wedding clothes again. Often these sessions take place near some sort of body of water during sunset. The results of the session are nice and relaxed portraits taken without all of the hectic activity from the actual wedding day! Another Beautiful Bride

I love it when my boudoir clients bring in something different to incorporate into the shoot. This bride managed to sneak out with her fiancé's paintball gun to use for some fun photos!

Ms. Patricia Duffy

Some of you faithful blog readers may remember a year ago when I photographed the lovely Patricia Duffy at a recording studio as she recorded an album of her own original tunes. I then photographed her in December at Cherry Beach with the goal of creating some portraits for said album cover. Last week I was surprised to come home to a mystery package sitting at my front door. Inside I found a copy of the Patricia's disc, Please Don't Tell Me. The music is amazing and I listened to the album about three times that day. I love it! I am very excited to see her play with her trio at her official CD release on Wednesday at Gate 403 (403 Roncesvalles Avenue in Toronto). If you are looking for something to do between 5pm and 8pm, please do come by!

Do you remember the engagement session that I did back in February with Pati + Marcus? I recently got the film back from the photos that I took on my Holga during their session. Here is my favourite image from it. You never know what you are going to get with double exposures!

Save Us From Our House

I began working again with the production team for the tv show Save Us From Our House this past week. We are now working on season four of the show. I had three lovely families in my studio for our first session and I must say, these were some of the best families that I have photographed! Everyone was a lot of fun and we got some great portraits because of that.

Boudoir from the Weekend!

On Saturday I had four lovely ladies to my studio for another Boudoir Marathon. I was very excited to use my new backdrop that was especially purchased for these type of portraits! Here are some of my favourite images from one of the sessions. This bride is getting married this summer and I know that her future hubby will love the photos!

New Product: Photo Composites!

Photo composites are a great way to hang your favourites photos together as one! You choose your favourite images and I will make a custom layout for them. The end product is a 16" x 20" photograph.

Before + After

I get asked a lot by clients about my additional retouching. When you hire me for boudoir portraits, I have you choose twenty of your favourite images and do this additional retouching to the images. For this, I take out any imperfections, smooth out the skin and pump up the contrast to make it the perfect image that you then see! Here is a sample of the before and after of a photograph that I took of a lovely bride this past weekend.
