A New Li'l Family!

Back in the summer of 2004 I photographed Sonia + Kevin's wedding. Their wedding is definitely one of my favourite weddings that I have ever photographed. It took place at the beautiful Sunnyside Pavillion on the Lakeshore. Instead of the traditional centrepieces, they had pinwheels on the tables that turned as the soft breeze from the lake blew through the room. They also had their guests sitting at long dining tables that made everything seem that much more intimate. Not only was their wedding fabulous but they as a couple are incredible. So when Sonia emailed me in December saying that any day now they would be graced with their first child, I was incredibly excited to see them again and to meet the wee one. This past weekend I went to their house to photograph their li'l one month old baby girl! She is a perfect little baby who I know is going to grow up to do great things - how could she not with such great parents?! Congratulations Sonia + Kevin!!

Fine Art!

I have been asked by a number of people if I am ever going to sell any of my fine art images so I thought that I should get rolling on making that possible!

I am currently working on a project of my Mexican Holgas and am going to continue shooting this project when I visit Mexico in March. In the meantime, I have made a little website with some of my favourite personal images that I have taken over the past couple of months. I plan to continuously update this website as I shoot new images so keep checking it and please do not hesitate to contact me if you fancy any of them!

First Boudoir of 2008!

This past weekend I had a day of photographing a bunch of lovely ladies in the studio. Here are some of my favourite images from one of the sessions. This bride is getting married in a couple of months. I think that the photographs are going to make a great wedding gift! As with all of my boudoir photos, I am posting these with the permission of the client.

Eva + Jason are having a baby!

In the next couple of weeks Eva + Jason are going to be blessed with a wee baby boy! Their family is currently in the Caribbean celebrating Eva's brother's destination wedding and since Eva is so far along in her pregnancy, she was not able to travel down for the festivities. Because of this, her family wanted to do something special for Eva + Jason and for Christmas they bought a maternity portrait session for them! This past weekend we met at her brother's gorgeous condo in South Etobicoke to do the session. Eva used to be a model so she was a natural in front of the camera. We had a lot of fun doing the session that ended up being a cross between a maternity and fashion session.

We had to do a few photos of Jason alone so that he did not feel left out! ;) Isn't their baby going to be gorgeous?!

Laura + Rob are having a baby!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Laura + Rob at their new home in the Beach. Some of you may be familiar with Laura as she is a make-up artist extraordinaire! Laura + Rob were married in May and next month, they will be graced by little Sophie. These two move fast! Laura + Rob are an awesome couple: they seem as though they have known each other forever and they have such fun together. Never have I laughed so much while photographing a couple. Sophie is going to be one lucky girl to have such great parents. I can hardly wait to meet her!

Wendy + Ben :: December 29th, 2007

My last wedding of 2007 was an amazing one! Wendy + Ben are a fantastic couple and after doing their engagement photos in October, I was really looking forward to their big day. They are so incredibly in love with each other and were very excited to get married! Wendy + Ben are also a very brave couple and had plans for us to do the wedding party portraits in a park outside! Luckily the weather cooperated with us and it was bearable to be outside for a few moments. There was snow on the ground and Wendy looked like a complete princess out in it! Their ceremony took place at the Glenview Presbyterian Church in Toronto and the reception was held at the very lovely, Royal Ontario Golf Club in Horby. Congratulations Wendy + Ben!!

New Year's Day

It was such a nice sight to wake up to a New Year yesterday morning with the perfect amount of snow draping the roofs and tree branches. A walk outside was a must so we headed to one of my favourite places in Toronto - Cherry Beach.
