Dianne & Bruce :: October 21st, 2006

Dianne & Bruce's wedding took place on Saturday, October 21st. We started at the bride's house for "getting ready" shots with all of the ladies. The ceremony and reception was then held at the beautiful Doctor's House in Kleinburg. Dianne looked like a princess with her tiara and sparkling jewellery! Bruce and his groomsmen were full of constant jokes which made the day a fun one. Congratulations to Dianne & Bruce!

Andrea & Chris' Wedding :: October 14th, 2006

I had been looking forward to photographing Andrea and Chris' wedding since I did their engagement photos last November at the Toronto Zoo. They are such a fun and laidback couple! The weather forecast did not look promising but luckily the potential storms held off and we had a fabulous day. Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Casimar's on Roncesvalles Avenue and their reception was at the Old Mill. Congratulations Andrea and Chris!

Big Sky

Yesterday while driving back to the city from Parry Sound I took my time and stopped a few times to take some photos. The sky was so beautiful that I could not help myself. It is interesting driving around there as the work on the 400 continues. The roads are diverted from where they once were and in turn, this is putting a lot of businesses out of work. There is something sort of sad about seeing the abandoned buildings.

Corporate Functions & Holiday Parties!

I received an email this week from a recent bride of mine asking me about photographing corporate functions. Her office is having their annual holiday party in December and she was wondering if I do this sort of thing. The answer is yes! I love photographing people in all sorts of situations! In the past I have worked for clients that include the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, Access Copyright, LaserQuest and the GCI Group. For these clients I have photographed everything from formal headshots and studio portraits to on-location photo booth-style portraits to press releases to candids of parties and award galas. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a custom quote for your upcoming function.

Amy & Neil's Wedding :: October 8th, 2006

I have been looking forward to Amy and Neil's wedding ever since I did their engagement photographs in the spring. They are such a fabulous couple! Their eyes sparkle when they are together making it easy for me to capture that magic between them. It was a gorgeous autumn day for their wedding. The ceremony took place at St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church in Oakville. We then did wedding party portraits at Gairloch Gardens in Oakville before heading to the reception at the very elegant Liberty Grand in Toronto. Congratulations to Amy & Neil!

Portraits of Katerra & Her Parents

Having spent a couple of solid days with my niece and the family, I had to do some portraits. On October 14th, the wee one will be three months old. She is just beginning to smile a little - showing off her two little dimples!

Thanksgiving!

I can hardly believe how gorgeous this Thanksgiving weekend has been! We went to my Mom's in Codrington (just north of Brighton) for Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. It was so warm out that we all sat outside and watched the sunset. My Mom's house is surrounded by cornfields which had not been cut yet. I loved photographing the setting sun through it.

Heather & Strahan's Wedding :: September 30th, 2006

Heather & Strahan's wedding took place at McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg. Although it was a rainy day, it was still very bright so we managed to get some great photographs outside. The wedding was great for me to photograph as Strahan had everything planned out perfectly! The atmosphere of McMichael was great and the speeches throughout the night were hilarious! Congratulations to Heather & Strahan!

Strahan and his groomsmen had fabulous ties for the wedding! There was quite the discussion between the guys regarding the perfect knot, and more importantly, the size and importance of the dimple on them. I think that they turned out perfectly!

The guys got in one last game of Xbox before heading off to the ceremony!

During the ceremony Heather & Strahan had some friends and family speak of their own experiences of being married. The speakers included a friend who is a newlywed, an Aunt & Uncle and Heather's two grandmothers, who have each been married for sixty-one years. It was a very special moment!

Heather & Strahan wrote personalized notes inside of everyone's placecards.

I photographed the MC, Mike's wedding in June of 2005!

Hilarious speeches make for great reactions!

Reena & Vipin's Wedding :: September 24th, 2006

Reena and Vipin's wedding was a twelve-hour adventure for me to photograph! The day was filled with great people, yummy food and lots of colour. The entire day's events were held at Hockley Valley Resort in Orangeville. Although it was a grey day and the experts were calling for rain, the sky cleared at the perfect times, including the baraat when Vipin arrived on a decorated horse. I had a lot of fun documenting the day and I felt honoured to be part of such a special event. Congratulations Reena & Vipin!

Reena's Mom helps her get ready for the ceremony. Reena wore her Mom's very special jewellery set from her own wedding.

Reena's cousins stole Vipin's shoes and only gave them back after a sufficiant bribe was offered.
