Jess & Chris' Wedding :: June 24th, Woodstock

Jess and Chris' wedding was an absolute pleasure for me to photograph. Everything about their wedding was great: from the weather, to the decorations, to the smiling people to the dress. The ceremony was held on private property just outside of Woodstock and the beach-y resort-themed reception was held at Goff Hall in Woodstock. The wedding party included a set of the cutest twins ever, as well as a shy-but-most-definitely-cute ring bearer. Jess' dress was very special as it was made by a best friend of her Mom's. When her Mom was twelve, she had made a pact with her friend, Val, that one day she would make her daughter's wedding dress. Many years later, that pact came true. The gorgeous dress had pink crinoline underneath which was a surprise to guests as Jess showed it off while walking down the aisle with her new husband.

Weddings are special events that are meant to truly celebrate the bridal couple. They should be a coming together of all the people that are most important to the couple and should involve plenty of emotion, fun and definitely lots of laughter. Jess and Chris' wedding could not have been more perfect as it included all of these factors and more.

Becky & Daniel's Wedding :: June 23rd, Alliston

Becky and Daniel's wedding took place this past Friday at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston. The sun was shining for their outdoor ceremony that took place in the wedding garden at the Inn. Becky and Daniel's wedding was an emotional one, with an emphasis on the importance of family. It was also the joining of two countries - Canada and the United Kingdom. Their wedding was very elegant and filled with many personal touches.

Katy & Curtis' Wedding :: June 17th

Katy & Curtis' wedding took place this past Saturday at the Sir William MacKenzie Inn located in Kirkfield, Ontario. The Inn is a great place for weddings: with a gorgeous outdoor chapel, a bright reception room and a wide porch that was a perfect spot for gathering guests. Katy and Curtis were all smiles throughout the day, especially when their little dog Spike was brought out to enjoy in the celebrations. The formal part of the day ended with a romantic candlelit cake cutting held in the chapel at dusk. Congratulations to Katy & Curtis!

My Sister Abby

My sister Abby's due date is now a month and a half away! I had to get her out and take some more photographs before my little niece/nephew is born. So last weekend we headed to Kensington Market, a place where Abby hangs out whenever she gets a chance. It is a vibrant place of colour, people and endless nooks for taking photos!

Erin & Jeff's Wedding :: June 3rd, 2006, Ottawa

I was lucky enough to have been chosen to photograph Erin & Jeff's wedding that took place in our Nation's capital on June 3rd. The wedding was full of high energy theatre folk but the wedding was really all about THE DRESS! Erin chose a gorgeous red wedding dress that took everyone's breath away. Although it rained for the entire day, the sky was bright which made the rain look practically invisible in the photographs. Both the ceremony and reception took place at Tabaret Hall at the University of Ottawa. Thanks to a guest at the wedding we even managed to get into the Parliament Buildings for a few photographs. Here are some of my favourites from the big day.

Wendy & Adam's Wedding Album

Wendy & Adam got married on January 26th. They had a gorgeous destination wedding at the Bavaro Princess resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding for them and just recently I completed their wedding album. The final book is a sixty-sided Book Bound EX album.
